The growth of 4-stroke outboards has seen these used in commercial applications of up to 12
meters, and coupled with Naiad’s stepped hull technology, deliver sparkling performance.
Jet drives have been particularly popular of late for use in military applications and superyacht
tenders. Construction is underway of the first 11.3m twin-diesel jet for Kaikoura Coastguard
in New Zealand—this boat will be fitted with the latest Hamilton Jet Blue Arrow system.
