Naiad’s Buoyancy Tube System
NAIAD uses an exclusive twin tube, twin track system with patented easy removal and tube retention system. This allows commercial operators to keep working by minimizing downtime - tubes can even be replaced or repaired in the field.
 Our inner tubes are made of the best air retaining material available, butynol. Like the inner tube of a car tire it can be repaired quickly and easily.
As our outer fabric is not required to retain air, minor holes need not be patched until later, long cuts can be stitched or patched. This newly-introduced much tougher fabric has four to five times the tear strength of other commercially available tube systems.
Naiad also offers a closed-cell foam fendering system as an option which has been particularly popular with pilot boat operators.
